Sugam Vasani, MD, FACS

Sugam Vasani, MD, FACS, received his medical degree from Kasturba Medical College in Mangalore, India.

Dr. Vasani finished his general surgery residency at the University of Texas in Galveston, TX. He has also completed a hepatobiliary and transplant surgery fellowship at Baylor University in Dallas, TX.

His areas of interests include minimally invasive general surgical procedures, such as laparoscopic colectomy, as well as thyroid and parathyroid surgery, hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery, and hernia surgery–both open and laparoscopic.

Dr. Vasani also expresses interests in breast and cancer surgery–skin, soft tissue, endocrine, and gastrointestinal malignancies–emergent and urgent general surgical procedures, upper and lower gastro-intestinal endoscopy procedures, as well as robotic surgery.
