Jeffrey W. Madden, MD, FACS

General Surgery

Dr. Jeffrey Madden, MD, graduated with honors from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pa., where he earned his undergraduate degree with dual majors in behavioral neuroscience, as well as the history and philosophy of science. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio, where he was the director of the student-run clinic.

Dr. Madden completed his residency in general surgery from Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa., where he received two awards: the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons Resident Achievement Award and the Albert G. Marrangoni, MD, Surgical Research Award. Dr. Madden received additional training in Endorectal Ultrasonography from the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons in Chicago, IL.

Dr. Madden has extensive research experience through presentations and being a featured author for journal publications. He holds numerous professional appointments as the Director of Trauma Services at United Hospital Center and Associate Professor of Surgery at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, WV.
